Brand New - The Tivoli

I had a last minute change of plans last night and covered for a friend shooting Brand New which I was more than happy about as I wanted to shoot them anyway. The lights were a bit of a challenge and I'm not sure how happy I am with the results, but I'll put them up anyway. Support for the night was Kevin Devine.

After the Brand New show I headed over to Cubby Hole to take a few snaps of The Villains of Wilhelm who were as always entertaining to shoot. I intended on shooting The Rocketsmiths as well but I got a little distracted, anyway here are a few shots of the villains.

Converge - The HiFi

I shot Converge at The HiFi last night, I was a little anxious after seeing this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=urlF9jrJ5O0) of one of their shows, I was probably more worried for the safety of my camera than my own safety. But in the end it was actually really enjoyable to shoot. They were supported by Genghis Tron and locals Ghost Town

The Pixies

Yesterday I got a last minute confirmation to shoot The Pixies! I think this was probably the most excited I've ever been to shoot a band. We were able to watch the first 3 songs side of stage and then shoot 5,6,7,8 so I actually got to see a fair bit of the show as well which just made it even better.
