I'm aiming to take a lot more photos this year... not just of music related stuff as I normally do, but of everything. So I was doing some baking the other morning and I decided that I might as well take photos too.
I shot Royal Crown Revue the other night, it was my second time shooting them and fourth time seeing them live. So much fun! I Love how a lot of the crowd dresses up for it as well. They were supported by a band from Perth called Boom! Bap! Pow. Here are a few photos of both bands

I went to the Health show at Woodland on Saturday night (I think it was Saturday, this past week has all just rolled into one) anyway I was really, really tired and Health weren't going on till 12 so I didn't actually make it that late. But I did take some photos of DZ and The Death Set
I went to New York last week to shoot the 2010 CMJ film and music festival. It was amazing! 1200 bands playing over a lot of different venues all around New York. I didn't get around to shooting anywhere near as many bands as I would have liked too but it was still a great week. If you would like to see all of the photos you can here
I went and saw a few bands I knew and a lot of bands I hadn't heard of before. My highlights included finally getting to see Philadelphia Grand Jury (I've some how always managed to miss their shows over here) Bad Books (made up of Manchester Orchestra and Kevin Devine) were great, as was Johnny Flynn. As far as bands I hadn't heard of before I think my favourite new discoveries of the week were River City Extension, Death On Two Wheels and Dom. Anyway here are the photos.
