DZ in 3D

DZ played a fundraiser show at The Zoo last night for their upcoming trip to New York (I'm going with them for a part of it, which I'm pretty excited about) It was a great show but once again I'm not very happy with the photos. DZ are always a pretty difficult band to shoot because they use strobes and other crazy lights a lot which are awesome if you're just watching but a bit more of a challenge to take photos of (they had 3D lights set up last night so I attempted to take a few photos through the glasses. They actually turned out better than I had hoped) crowds at their shows are always fairly nuts as well I was knocked over a couple of times last night but I don't mind that as long as my camera is ok haha. Anyway ... here are a few photos.

Bluejuice - HiFi

Bluejuice are a band that I've seen play a few times and every time I've been very sad that I hadn't had a camera with me, and once again someone beat me too it on the website I normally shoot for. Luckily one of my friends managed to hook me up with a pass. There was no three song rule for a change so I took far too many photos. It was a great show apart from having water thrown all over myself and my camera a few times. I missed the first support (the swamplords) but got there in time to take a few snaps of The Holidays. I've shot them a couple of times before when they did a tour with Yves Klein Blue. Anyway, it was a fun night.

Something a bit different.

Most of the photos I post on here are obviously music based but I'm starting to get really excited about the fact that I'll hopefully be going back to Tanzania in the near future so I thought I would put up some photos from the last time that I was there.

I'm off to shoot YKB/Cloud Control/ Last Dinosaurs at The Old Museum tonight so I'll put those photos up sometime soon.
